ABSTRACT: 02:23 Marc Savoy discusses his childhood growing up on a farm near Eunice. Born in 1940, he grew up listening to Cajun musicians jamming at home. When he started playing accordion at 12 years old, he easily adapted. 05:05 Fiddle was his primary instrument. But knew he wanted to play accordion after first hearing it at about age 6.
